Outstanding info ..... just wondering if I'm missing where the PvP stuff you have listed here is from though. I've been trying to research this game, watching videos, reading reviews, and what not, but all I seem to come accross is this type of explaination of the PvP content: "As for end game PvP, you are able to challenge players to duels. If you're bored of that you can then arrange parties for group fights or team battles. If you end up getting bored of that too, then you can just go and hop on to the battlefield. The battlefield feature is still being worked on in the Korean version but it will open soon. There are two game modes and the rules differ for each one. For example, in the 5v5 matches your team's objective is to kill the opposing team and the first team to reach the score limit of 1,000 points wins. In the 10v10 version players have a more complex objective like Capturing the Flag, breaking statues, and killing other players. I know I will be spending a lot of my time in the 10v10 battlefield area, since I am big fan of huge battles." They don't mention open world FFA, guild vs guild, server vs server, all the cool shit you have in your posting here....is all of the awesomeness you have listed for certain going to be implemented?
Why play it? EnMasse I just submitted a bug report on a quest that wouldn't complete and on top of letting me know they got it and thanking me for submitting it (which is more then I expected from past games) the GM wants to help me turn it in. Reply with character and server names and he'll turn it in for me?! I was just submitting a bug report for beta. Talk about above and beyond. If there is one thing going around most about EME so far it is that their customer support/service is amazing.
Yep - they did the same for me when I sent in a report about a quest I can't turn in. Also (and this blew me away)... when I contacted them via their online chat to cancel my game order, the guy who answered was insanely pleasant. He didn't try to talk me out of it. He wasn't abrupt. He was pleasant, helpful and funny. So much so, that I felt bad for cancelling. I've never had an easier (or more prompt time) returning any product in my life. And I've certainly never been treated so well in the process. Add to that, they guy left my access to the beta open so I could continue to play until launch date. I think that says a lot about the future of the game. If the rest of the company is as customer-centric as their front line CS people are... I think it bodes well for the evolution of the game.
Their customer service is amazing. They responded to my refund ticket within 10 minutes and set up my refund within the next 15. And was super nice about it too.
