Try it now, I played during beta, and didn't find it that good, but now it is much better give it another try for about 20 levels (BTW, server choice matters very much, so check it out a bit).
I played it during the Jubilee Event... It was still terrible, and will always be terrible. The problem is Anet has a failed way of looking at MMO's, and is going about how to handle end game the wrong way among other things... What they fail to understand is the minority likes their content; while the majority doesn't and wants something more than running around and doing the same boring events everyday.
K, I myself haven't reached end game yet, but sooooo much content is added like every fortnight, but I still don't know. BTW, how is the end game in FF14
Played a bit of the beta for ESO, didn't feel at all like Oblivion or Skyrim. More like a meh MMO slapped into the ES universe to try and make some quick money. They might manage to pull something together, but since its not made by the same people that make the normal ES games I highly doubt it. But atm its not nearly as interesting to me as FF14 is.
I'm not hyped at all for TESO, i think it'll be a TOR bis, another huge failure ruining a franchise. Now i can be wrong (i hope so, i like good games) but i doubt it. We got EQN, Wildstar, Archeage coming around the same time, then some interesting concepts in the future (star citizen and WOD), i hope that at least ONE game will be innovative and interesting to play. Even a fairly good mmo like FFXIV makes me want to suicide when i play it... Anyway, in my case, no good PVP = no go. PVE is really not my cup of tea anymore, especially when it requires doing the same stuff over, over, over again. U don't learn, u don't progress, u don't get any personnal development grinding dungeons. In PVP ur opponents change, evolve, develop new tactics, u keep learning all the time = u get better, more clever... NO PVP = NO EVOLUTION.
