2 things, McDonald's isn't actually food per say, and it's already cooked when you order. We already have technology that can accelerate the time it takes to cook food without the effects of a microwave oven (through hybridizing different types of technologies such as convection, infra red and microwave) but it's currently too expensive to produce to be practically applied in most commercial kitchens.
