I didn't yet, it's pointless to play HC without a large group I think. I'm just getting back into the game and dieing a lot anyway lol. I might start up after I get past level 50 or so on my normal guy, I hit 20 last night and im starting act 3.

Just hit 24, trying to get through act 4 for baal runs.

And i'm on east, non HC, non ladder.

Why can't XoO have a casual divison for once? So competative... >_<

Hm, I have quite a few east SC NL characters after the reset. Let me know if you need anything - I find lowish uniques/sets quite regularly and normally just have to throw them out.

East account names are "Shiriusu", "Shiriusu0", "Shiriusu1" and "Shiriusu2" for the interested. This came from back when original names were hard to find and I didn't have XoO for differentiation... :)

If you got 24-ish assassin stuff, I'm in dire need of an equipment upgrade >_<

    What's a "Baal Run"?

I'm a hardcore player, legit items, norush, noruns. D2 is easy enough for veterans without godly items and level advantage. :p

Heh. I stick to items either I or people I know find myself (vast majority of cases anyway, I did trade some pgems for an ammy on USWest once)... which cuts things down a bit anyway. But it is fun in a way to gradually build up characters towards "awesome" regardless.

I do mfind though, every so often. It's the only way you ever get some of the stuff you want...

At level 5-15 you do tristram runs. You plow through Tristram over and over again. It's generally pretty quick, couple bosses might need a couple minutes worth of beating but it's not too difficult.

From 15-25 you do "tomb" runs, where you go through every Tal Rasha tomb (even the fake ones) and kill everything. Very good xp.

From 25-(40-50, your choice) you do baal runs, where you go to the THrone of Distruction and kill everything he summons. Extremely good exp, 20 levels+ easily.

I'm 48 now, it's about time to do Nightmare Baal runs.

Eventually I'll get off my lazy ass and plow through some of the quests I missed.

I started a hammerdin. I have never played one and I always thought they were kinda lame. Anyway I tried to play it legit from the start, but the lack of skills early made it hard. Then I just rushed 15 in trist and did some sewers/ got cube in act 2 and I'm 18. I don't like how I can never tell if my hammers are hitting something. Oh well I am going to focus on GW until at least the 12th after a Tourney.

Running can be slightly legit. Every now and then I find my weapons a bit out of date, but nothing like some quick fingers, looting the yellow weapons can't fix.

Never been a big fan of hammers myself, although they do at least work with a little arm-twisting. Also makes for a pretty decent build... I haven't "finished" my hammerdin build yet that said - still yet to get to the holy shield part - but it's on the way. Dual spirits helped quite a bit for that. :)

Then again, the tornado skill is also notoriously hard to use, yet I use a wind druid for MF pretty much all the time. I guess you just get used to it.

This level 73 hurricane druid tore a hole through Nightmare Chaos Sanctuary.

If he didn't there would be something wrong.

I would play with you guys, but I don't have the time to devote to a group anymore.

Er... hurricane druids can tear a hole through hell chaos sanct, actually (mine is level 87, but the build is as good as done by level 80 or so). There are a couple spots you have to be careful (infector of souls and diablo himself), but cyclone armor should take care of the rest while you tornado them into oblivion. :)

That and the hammerdin are probably the best builds for that area in fact, because you don't have to deal with immunities, iron maiden doesn't hurt you, and you can clear crowds fast enough not to get owned by them.
