You harbor such negative vibes, please try to understand that I tried to word things to state it as rhetoric, and it is up to each individual to show understanding for their own situation because clearly it would be terribly unfair of me to judge you as you seem to think I did anyway.

Don't let your past feelings for me influence how you perceive my intent, perhaps if you had actually worked through your problems with me you would have made some social progress instead of this ignorelist social retardation which, obviously, is still a source for drama and social separatism.

If you are unable or unwilling to deal with it then I apologize for the above statement, and I respect your choice while not agreeing with it personally.

    Thank you for your time.

Ok, I like this theme. It should definitely be one of the ones we get to choose from when the forums are running properly.

    I likes this theme, too.

I'll be honest, the old XoO theme will always have a place in my heart, though.

Agreed, the new theme will probably form the same feeling too as well.

Totally wastes mad space on ugly graphics. Low contrast very hard to read. Dull red. Dull grey. Dull dark grey.[/OPINION]

    What about this theme?
    http://www.vbstyles.com/demo/index.php?styleid=53

I have it nearly converted to Red already over at:
    http://www.cromcast.com/

And since I'm not going to have any time to do cromcast I would happily donate that to the guild. Just an idea. :D

I mean, I'll happily try to help with anything we do, but I like clean themes that focus yer eyeballs on the content and not the filigree.

Also, that particular theme lends itself well to a variety of different header graphics and styles etc, and you can customize the CSS easily to be MORE fancy. It's hard to roll BACK from fancy to simple but easy to go the other way.

    Sorry rambling, not much time.

Earley - I rly like the first one (green), and when converted to red would look awsome, but if u notice on the green one the graphics and the whole theme itself is just so...smooth, I personally really like how it is as a whole (just change the color).

I like the style Early linked. I actually don't like it in red, though. I prefer the green - it has more contrast and livens things up a bit. The red just looks.. dully bright and doesn't flatter the page.

This one is a little dark, but I kind of like it.

This theme still needs tweaking. Smilies look like crap on the dark background.   :(

    Less crappy smilies needed, then.

Actually people find too much contrast to be hard to read, and it depends on the person if they prefer the light background with dark text or dark background with light text...
Different people have problems with each... I know people that find dark harder to read, and people that find light harder to read.

Our goal is to have at least a dark theme and a light theme, but at the same time, we dont' want to look like 99% of other websites. We want to have our own feel and look.

I honestly don't think this is bad.

Then again, we only have one window in this computer room and it's blocked >_> So, I can see a bit better most of the day.

also the fixed width vs fluid width debate is forever ;)
fluid is great for people with tons of monitor space, fixed is nicer to theme... you can make graphics that are fixed and don't have to deal with stretching... the theme Early linked IMO is very bland and looks like tons of other VB sites (just my opinion) and it's partly due to it being a fluid width theme that limits it... you can make nice fluid width themes, but it takes a lot more work to make sure the graphics all line up and work etc.

We didn't really take into account fluid vs fixed when we set this up, it just happened to be fixed, and I run my monitor at 1680x1050 and don't have any issues with it's size :)

But keep the feedback coming :)

I liked the black before with the orange text.
