This show is by far my favorite Zombie movie/show. FINALLY a story about survival and the hardship of coping with a world infested with a zombie virus. No flashy gimmicks, no "Mr President we must bomb this city" bullshit.
I appreciate how the story is more than the zombies themselves. It's about them surviving...Not mass extermination.
Have actually been watching this show, ant tbh the 1st season was really really mindblowingly good, Shame i cannot say the same about season 2, But i wll continue to watch in the hope they pull sumit great out of that zombie ridden backpack of there's.
How is everyone liking the 2nd season? Seems pretty meh to me. I guess the main writer did not do the current episodes.
I think its ok, on a whole somewhat bland, but each episode have had their moments ... One of my personal favs is when Rick quick drawed on those two brigands who were setting up to rob/kill them ....
It's more of an emotional set up any character development than any thing else. I say next season will be more action packed like the first.
I think this season has been way more solid then the first, the human shows in the characters. Love, jealousy etc. it feels much more real. Great season!
holy freaking finale ........ talking about "always leave em wanting more" .... I cant wait for season 3
Yeah, the show really shifted from the comic books, but in a good way. Really looking forward to season 3.
They finally "aired" this series in Holland too, Pay-tv though. I'm glad season 3 will have 16 episodes. Can't wait, but we'll have to wait till November.
The interesting thing about The Walking Dead for me is that there have been several times where I've thought "Alright, this show has finally jumped the shark" or "They finally killed it, this show is dead to me". Yet I keep coming back for more episodes and they keep redeeming themselves (sometimes only barely). I've read all the graphic novels so far and I really believe that it's a negative thing as far as the show is concerned.
