People who say the boycott failed do so to justify their purchase of the game. The way I see it, if everyone is talking about the boycott, then it worked.
even if it doesn't cause a change, it did allow people a heads up and many saved money and avoided anger. thats a win even if they keep trying to release more fail.
depends on the point of the boycott's objectives to say it worked or not. If it was to make them change the game to what the boycott wanted..didnt work. If it was to make those not wanting to buy the game..to not buy the game...well it worked..those not wanting it..didnt get it.
Looks like the hacks will become widespread and force people to sell their copy of the game. They were warned. Too bad.
The boycott failed as in they didnt get what they wanted but it did get the word out that some players wont take shit spoon fed to them
The boycott is still going on for many people. Just because they didn't release what we wanted doesn't mean they won't patch it.
With the console versions of the game selling so well, I think Activision will simply think something along the lines of "tough cookies, PC gamers." I doubt that a handful of people they call hardcore gamers that aren't buying the game are not important to them.
Yea. This is probably the truth of the matter. But it doesn't mean I'm going to be a bitch and buy the game on PC.
I'm one of the people voicing their opinions on how broken this game is over on the official IW forums. Oh, and guess how many replies Mr. Fourzerotwo has made since the release of the game. That's right, ZERO! He, along with IW as a whole is completely ignoring the fanbase and every concern we have. I do still enjoy this game, somewhat, but I would not recommend it to anyone who hasnt gotten it yet. Not until they fix what is glaringly broken, and address their customer-base.
