From what i've read, the grind will be a bit more slower than most mmos. In the fact that you'll have to explore & use to learn. And ya won't know exactly what abilities &/or recipes will be available to you right away.

...I'm also interested to see if they can pull off the "reverse-engineering" for the the crafting (SWG was close, but i want to see better). I also want to see how well they pull off the primary & sub skills. Like a primary is swords, the sub skills are all the different things ya can do with a sword. how will that fit with magic & crafting?

Are we going to start a thread in the Guild section?

EDIT: or do we have one already that I can bump?

Well, it's not suppose to be soo much of a "grind" persay, as discovering & learning.

LIke in WoW, if ya want to pick the uber flower to make potions, ya have to be a certain level of herbalism before ya can even get it. In MO, ya can pick it up from go. It'll just be a red flower to ya, at least until ya learn what it really is (instead of "that red thing with thorns"). Once ya learn it's a rose, you'll be able to do more with it.

Similarly with say swords. any one can use a sword. Ya use one more, ya learn more bout swords & then ya learn new things ya can do with a sword. Better yet, if ya make weapons & ya use swords, you may be able to make better swords cause ya know how to use them, how ya want them to be balanced, what kind of durability & strength ya want out of it & so on.

....supposedly there will be a reverse engineering to crafting. I'm interested in that!

So as ya learn how to do things, discover new things, &/or read bout things you may be able to do more with, to, or for the things ya do or want to do.

....not so much grind, as learn how to use & discover! Hope they pull it off. It should be good.

yeah, our thread already got a warning from a moderator for banter....

...thus, people are having a hard time trying to figure out how to bump it up again.
