Nope. Each person in the party takes a turn at the conversation, you can pick whatever you want, but if it isnt your turn then what you picked wont have any affect on the STORY. But as for your personal progression towards light or dark and all that, only your choices matter and no one else affects that. At least, that was what the developers have said many many times in the past, I didnt read if they suddenly changed their minds at E3 this year.
well that kind of thing shouldnt effect ME3 regardless, since multiplayer co-op is separate from the campaign anyways.
Maybe I should make a post in the SW section about it, but from what I heard they were talking about everyone rolled for what they wanted said in the convo, then whatever won the roll happened. Maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm right, but for the sake of anti-trolling I hope to god I'm wrong. That's enough about not ME in the ME thread though. So back to it: Rail shooter sequence + or -?
=! I don't care either way, as long as they don't put too many. It could make for a good action sequence to break up the cover to cover action. If they don't overdo it, it should be a cinematic piece as intended rather than a gimmick to appeal to action fans.
The one in the trailer didn't even look like you were actually doing anything either. The thing was getting hit by rounds from space and still going.
But I mean what's the point in still shooting at it with your pea shooter at that point. You would probably have better luck with harsh language.
Damn you reapers .... Damn you to HEEELLLL .... err Dark space ? If you think about it, some of the old Mako sequences were on rails, I mean the one where you were going down a tunnel on the old Protian planet was semi rail-ish ? Gruune
one thing i pray they include, but they probably wont, is a bit where you get to rescue the Turrian Council member. hes cruising around in his fancy councilship, gets jumped by a marauding Reaper, and makes a general distress call, just so happening to get (guess who?) Shepard. and he will be alike "Shepard! Reapers! Help!" and you can go "Ah yes, *fingerquotes* 'Reapers', i have dismissed that claim. Goodbye." such a scene would make me entirely too happy.
Put it this way, it wasnt like you were making any turns during that sequence ... you were rolling down a narrow tunnel with no where else to turn But anyways yeah it was not a true rail sequence, but if the some the opening cinematics were "playable" and on rails it would make for a cool start; Similar to escaping the Normandy in ME2 Gru
I dunno, it supposedly starts with Shepard on trial. If you get sentenced to death or something and suddenly *boom* the Reapers attack, it could be interesting.
