Put yourself in the Quarian's situation though, they were kicked off their planet by their own creation. How much would you want to murder them?
Just like in any confrontation, it's going to take both sides coming together and saying, "Hey; let's bury the hatchet and try our best to get along, alright?" I don't think fault or wrongdoings really factor into it at all, at least if you want them to stop killing each other anyway. In any case...did someone say Kinect??!? WTF? Cool!!
not so much id tell them to feck off when they offered my home back... but then pride was never my sin of choice
ME2 SPOILER: Shepard does say near the end of ME2 when Tali and Legion are bickering that along the lines of: "Sooner or later both of your races will have to stop fighting or we all are going to suffer."
The ME3 Kinetc presentation was pretty cool. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2011-mass-effect/714803
Can't they do the same thing with a microphone on computers? I mean, EndWar did it really well. Edit: Release date announced. You're not going to like it. March 6th
Nope, there's no Kinect for PC to move your squad around. You can only give voice commands on PC (if they implement it)
You also need software. BioWare is using the Kinect hardware and software. They're not going to design their own. That demonstration didn't have any motion control, only voice commands.
I bet the underlying functionality for Kinect will be there in the code for ME3, just not used on PC. So it *may* work if someone were to install the Kinect for PC hacked drivers and try it out.
I see. I didn't watch the actual video, I only read the article about it, and quoted a snippet of it.
What I mean by that is, rather than basing voice commands on the Kinect tech, make it based on simply voice capture using microphones, that way all three platforms can get in on the action. And then if they still want Kinect functionality, add it separate from the voice.
Microsoft is trying to push Kinect. I can't imagine Bioware would have done this without being asked too.
I'm so very tempted to say something about how much more I love consoles, but I really don't want to get into that right now. In any case: AWESOME!!!!!
