That sucks. I would try and send it back. Premium monitors should not have that problem, that is one of the reasons they cost so much.
I decided to keep this monitor till dell releases next revision. Hopefully it will be defect free and thats when i'll rma.
Because it's sort of on topic. I just received this 27" 2560x1440 from Monoprice. The case is low rent, the stand is wonky (but it has VESA mounts) and it only uses dual-link DVI but it's the same LCD panel as the fancy Dell and Apple displays. If someone is looking for a QHD display you might give it a think if all you care about is the screen performance. Has a pretty decent warranty/deadpixel policy too.
Just purchase this http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...s_id=1130703&p_id=10235&seq=1&format=2&ref=cj 30" 2560x1600 We'll see how she compares. Altho i will still be using my Eyefinity setup for FPS gaming.
Its a pretty recent thing for Monoprice, since the Korean A- panels got really popular this past year.
Received my monitor today, dunno if i like it, i think it may have uneven colors, but i havent had more then 5 minutes to test it before i had to leave for work. My MSI Lightning is Single Link DVI only, whereas the 2560x monitors require Dual Link DVI, so i have to connect it directly to my 7950, we'll see how it does this weekend, will update on sunday with a report of it. Also, its quite large and heavy, big metal case, dont think its LED lighting either.
