I didn't mean it was dying, but I definitely do feel like it is back to its basics again..

No more 70 point talent trees, with people doing wtf damage anymore. (I am being facetious here)

But I do feel like it is back to what WoW was back in the good ol days. Now if they would just bring back world pvp then maybe, just maybe, we might have the WoW that we loved Pre - BG era.

Yeah, I have peopel whispering in my ear to try it out with them. My favorite toons are not on any XoO server since this was way before I joined, but I'm thinking I'll try out all the new stuff with them and all. I've been updating so once that is all finished I'll start my week.

Cata feels like vanilla WoW in many ways. From watching the beta videos instances actually can wipe your group and I'm hoping the raids can as well. That's the only reason I'm going back to it.

the tallent trees are kinda stupid, its pretty much just get every talent in there =/

and even though world pvp may not make a come back BG will be cool

Clearly you've never played WoW before :p. Even in vanilla WoW the BG grind was insane. Everyone was either being super hardcore in 40 mans or grinding AB and AV.

Personally, I dont intend to return to WoW ever. 16-18 months free of it without having an inclination to play it.

omg 40 mans, that was so hard to get groups for, biggest reason they stopped making them was cause its way to hard to balance.

Uh... OWPvP in TM? OWPvP outside UBRS? OWPvP was very prevalent and even as a HW I wasn't spending all my time in BGs that could take 3 days to complete.

It wasn't truly in there to even have a come back to make.

I pre-ordered Cata. this morning, makin' the plunge. See you all there, maybe.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow. For all the bad I said about wow in the past, I'll say this for it: it is probably the best MMO for me that I've really played. It gets easier to look past its faults once you go back to other games you realized you hated or tried out some new games that didn't stick for you. I got real tired of it a long while ago, but it too so much longer to hit that point then other games have managed.

I tell you what, I have my 70 priest from BC days sitting on Sarg, I xfer my drood and warrior off ages ago to play with some RL friends. I may be leveling my priest back up to 85 for XoO not sure, but I definitely do like the enhancements to the game so far.

As a S.Priest, I just blow through 6-7 things hitting on me at the same level and just ace them all with ease.

I guess it is easier when you have 70 bc raid epics. Not Sunwell worthy, but ZA/Kara etc...

yeah, my baby is a s.priest too (80). of course it is an alli though. I love that toon and draenei in general and i worked pretty hard on collecting things like mounts and stuff. From what I gather Sarg is for the hordies.

Last horde toons I played were some 70s I would have to transfer from the BC days, rogue/hunter/warlock/pally. That is if I wanted to pick one of those to play again (which I'm meh about, would rather make something new and see what is different through leveling). Also, transfers are expensive, they need to put something in where you move all your toons from one specific server to another for a flat rapefree fee.

Yeah Sargeras is Horde. My problem will be swallowing (yeah, go ahead) the $25 server transfer fee, ridiculous.

Its ok, I wanted a troll druid and I server xfer. That's 50 bucks right there.. So yeah =/

I will be leveling my priest again on Sargeras until Cata releases, and depending on that, I may either go stick with my priest on Sargeras, or just play my druid again, not sure...

Yeah the $25 for xfer then $25 faction change.

Its like buying a new game just to.. play a game I just bought?

Yet, if I was Blizz and people are OBVIOUSLY willing to pay that amount of money, then I would do it to.

I've always been interested in starting WoW, but the sheer amount of content that exists turns me away from it every time. It would take so much work to be able to play with XoO... :(

Not really Secksy once people get to 85 it will be easy to get a toon to 80, you can level him the normal way which wont take that long or you can get a pally to instance rush you through. You go to a instance and then the level 85 will run through and kill everything while you sit back loot and get really good exp.
