Specs for beta test. If you don't have These reqs then how the hell are you playing anything besides WoW? Sucks for the gamepad. Looks like its another direct port.

Wow, I can barely run it with my new setup. I guess my 8800 needs to be replaced. (Obviously). Wonder how much it would go up if I got a new GFX card - everything else is very good.
Haha well FFXIV isn't for everyone, seemed a bit faster to me Alpha----->Beta. Hope people show more beta stuff, or more get into it so people can FRAPS or see the game for themselves.=]
Yea, which stinks, I thought it'd be a lot of fun, but for an MMO combat is everything in my book and 6 seconds between attacks seems nuts. Its almost like they're trying to do "turn-based real time" which I know is a contradiction but it's the only conclusion I can draw from that. Just a bit wary to spend $75 on something that appears to be "port" minded.
So did anyone make it into the beta? Trying to get info to the Xenate for you guys and someone needs to get folks to speak up in the head count thread as well. -KM
Beta is starting saturday but there won't be anyone new to beta for a bit I believe. They want the alpha people to test it first. I'd say 2 weeks before they invite more people. I doubt there will be a big following in Xen for this game. 10 people at most. The game is way to niche to attract anyone who isn't a fan boi or just plain enjoys boring themselves to death.

It's a good thing i checked some old posts. Am a big FF Fan as well.. Hope i can still sign up if not, I guess will just check out the game and the features. EDIT: Dang was too late. but still happy i was able to read about it..
