Both have M.2 ports though. The ROG has better audio and more bios features to overclock with. ASUS and ASRock have the best M.2 ports, ASRock technically has more bandwidth for higher sustained transfer speeds (SSD must also support the faster speeds) and ASUS has the lowest latency and best I/O on the port because they worked closely with Intel and found the best bios engineering for the new M.2 ports.
Some of those motherboards just look way too damn sexy considering they're often hidden away and obscured by other, large components. Such a shame.
But if you color coordinate your components and do custom sleeve jobs on your wiring (ya, I meant that to sound dirty) then you can have one sexy looking computer.
