Yeah... the earlier stuff with graphics and models that looked like they were ripped straight from Rift.
I'm going to clean this thread out later when i get off work. No posting of things under NDA regardless of whether you took the footage or not. Thanks!
so this is only a 45-60 min drive away for me this Friday (at MSU)... ...anyone else in the area going?
Stash, make sure to bring a few cute easy going girls with you and make them suck beta keys out of devs.
mmmmm, might be short notice. ...it's at MSU, so I might be able to find some there (if it's not raining cats & dogs)
Noticed on their newest Ask Us they mention racials, just mentioned - nothing in depth and no information in it. It's on one of the last questions. I'd quote-post it but currently on mobile.
Bah, after watching that leaked 20-or-so minute gameplay video, I kinda lost interest in ESO again. Which is a bit of a shame, because from what I can tell, they have some really nice ideas, but once again, it's a case of implementation of said ideas being subpar. :/
The only one I've seen to date was unwatchable because the player had more interest in killing rats than doing anything useful.
Unfortunately, the links for it keep getting taken down. And as Ben K said, he runs around doing a lot of boring shit like killing rats, but there is a bit of exploration and general mob killing in it -- Even though he probably gets killed more than actually killing anything. I have the video downloaded in 1080p, so I could probably find a place to host it if you really want to see, but I don't know where to be honest (it's ~700mb) But I don't know, really. I had myself all hyped up for this game, and am probably going to get it (pay) or try it (if they decide on f2p), because they really do present a ton of great ideas. And it might just be me, who's tired of people thinking WoW's UI design is a good one, but just the minimap and quest tracker alone is a huge bother for me.
Watch out I am hearing rumors they are using scanning software to find those who post and watch the videos to IP ban. I dunno if this is true but just in case.
The scanning software would have to be on your computer for them to be able to find your IP, unless you post a link on a website they control. If that scanning software does exist, the next question you should ask is "Why does it exist ?", as it doesn't sound like the kind of thing they would write just to plug a leak. Then "Do you want to play a game that's spying on you ?" Probably bullshit. But I'd still suggest spreading the leaked footage around on the slim chance that it isn't.
