This is a lot of reading. Pretty much a categorized and sourced section for any info there is to be had: http://tamrielfoundry.com/development-faq/#ref The big stuff is the Cyrodiil info under the pvp section. They got how campaigns work, travel and claiming of territories. How stealth functions is also in there. Class info.
Thought people might find this interesting: A collection of developer information and hints that have led some to map out what zones we will see and explore when the game launches. Gives a good picture of how much game there will be as far as zone sizes goes. Source info and speculations found here: http://www.tesof.com/topic-available-areas-on-teso-release
nice, so just a few more weeks..... ...too bad it's not early March - I have Spring Break for the next 2 weeks..
y Looks like I am upgrading my computer instead of paying off my student loan. Forced my hand...willingly
I hate myself for getting so hyped about this, and getting my hopes up. Because it usually ends in disaster, and I don't want it to.
I just officially signed up for the beta. I keep playing as a Redguard my first play through in both Oblivion and Skyrim. So, I (un)officially vote Daggerfall.......hm..... I do like using bows though .... and Wood elves are the best archers...... damn it!!! I don't care!!! Just get me in the game!!!!
I don't have a link to confirm it no, I was actually looking for one around the time I posted that and couldn't find it. I think it was from a video and was too lazy to go watch a bunch of videos to look for it. Basically they have said they don't want you to pick your race because of some stat bonus, but they could decide to do fluff racials (SWTOR) or weak enough racials you won't really hotbar them competitively I suppose (GW2). We also know racials would lead to a few imbalances between the factions (like AD having no tanking stats, DC would be too melee focused and no archers) so it makes sense they would avoid it. CBT invites are going out sometime this month.
Yeah... no racials in TES doesn't really work. Take away the Khajiit night-eye and the Argonian water-breathing and you don't have Khajiit or Argonians anymore.
Oh em gee. They're bringing a Darkness Falls type reward-dungeon to Cyrodiil. That place was absolutely amazing in Dark Age of Camelot.
