The reason why this time / day works for 90% of the community (or at least it should work) is most people in college should still be on Easter Break, or shortly coming off of it. Its on a sunday, typically a day where not much is going on for the average person. Its also late enough where it shouldn't come into conflict with dinner time or family events. But still early enough where people can attend, and get plenty of sleep for work on monday. As far as the European community goes, unfortunately there is no middle ground. If we make the time earlier, it clashes with peoples dinner times. If we make it for another day, people either have work, or other things going on. The day we pick and time chosen was the best possible day and time we could come up with to meet the needs of all members. Again, as far as the european players go we apologize, but XoO is predominately a NA gaming community. I am by no means meaning to belittle you with saying this. Im only stating a fact, that most of our members come from NA, so we pick times, and days to accommodate the majority. This is why we record all our meetings, and are willing to do follow ups, ask questions etc, so if anyone has anything unresolved they may do so then. Hopefully this helped...
Dude I was agreeing with you . I do not deem my self so important that all of XoO should change just for me . I was just letting the powers that be know why I have not been showing up for these meetings . be cause I try to attend them all and have been for the last 9 years or so. and saying that the EU is half of XoO is over stating it a bit. I my self like having the EU player attend be cause they tend to be more vocal in the meetings and ad good input for the most part. In the past we would rotate the meeting times to accommodate both NA and EU . but then again XoO was must larger then and we had two meeting a month . any way the fact remains we will never be able to please every one at once.
If you are unable to attend the community meeting please PM me and I will make sure it gets asked. Also the meeting will be recorded and posted in teamspeak for later. I will confer will the XoO leadership team and see if some better middle ground will be met but I doubt this will be changing.
After we get a CRO this'll be their job, don't worry. Anyway, are our EU guys expected to listen to the recording or is there some sort of workaround?
We cannot force them to do anything. If they want to listen to it, they can listen to it. Typically our community meetings take around 2 hours, 1 hour was the shortest we had when I led up the community meeting. With Bishop leading this one up, im sure it will be just as short, but 2 hours is the absolute longest it will be. Anyway those 2 hours can usually be summarized into 15-20 minutes tops.
Just to let people know, the OP has been updated with the meeting agenda. ...for those of us where the timezone makes this unreasonable could we say that members should direct their questions to their divisional leaders as representation for their points/questions/concerns?
Sorry folks, gotta take off tomorrow morning got some mission in the Balkans, 1am's too late for me unfortunately I'll ready the transcript
