Now that the game's out, how's it running? What kind of FPS do you get in large mobs (events with many people & WvW big mobs etc), with what settings? Only ask because I'm looking at an upgrade myself. Edit: i5+GTX560Ti = 1920x1080 on high settings no problem.
Sorry man, I missed your post. I can run everything on max just fine, over 60fps constantly. In WvW though, I does drop damatically, to between 20-30 fps - we're talking zergfests here. I've tweaked some settings down (see screenshot) and am very happy with the results. I wen't into WvW just now, though because of the time, there weren't any large groups roaming around, this was the best I could do. I'll get more screens tomorrow. Screenshot link. On a side note, I've overclocked to 4.2Ghz, no gpu overclock. I'm really doubting you will get THAT big of an increase from your 560Ti to an HD 7850. If anything, if I were in your shoes, I'd buy a second 560Ti and SLI it. That, or jump to an HD 7905 or above, or the new GTX 660 and above. Edit: Found a nice sized group in Eternal. Link.
