    In XoO GW's weekly HA run, we decided to run a twist on the classic blood spike! We weren't even half bad at it. A special thanks to all who participated.

    XoO GW runs HA every Saturday at 5:30 pm CST (10:30 pm GMT)

    The other three skills were up to the individual. We had someone running /E with snares, I was running /Mo with Shield Guardian, Extinguish and Shielding Hands. We were taking advantage of the March flux, so no elite skills. The flux ended right as out run did (which was lucky).

    If we had had a bit longer to get used to the build, we would have started doing much better.

    (lars) =P

    @Nsman
    shadowstrike, lifebanestrike, vampgaze, awaken the blood
    Then we had some rit heals, spike finishers, minions for energy, and well of profane
    oldschool bloodspike, we ran it until the no-elite flux ended

    New flux is -5%CD/ally in the area, we spent an hour dicking around with it last night and we might run QZ/frozen ravenous spam, echo ravenous even. We got about 200DPS with only 3 ravs, should be 400DPS with 6 ravs-- talkin flooring most of their team within 2-4 seconds.

    Signet of Sorrow may be a good addition on the spikers. Seems like there were a few times that the target was down to less than, say 100 health, being healed, etc. The final 60+ dmg/ spiker (requiring no energy expenditure) may be something to consider. It certainly can add to the pressure if you think about the other team's monks' energy management.

    I do like it as a spike finisher, its not a spell and can be spammed sometimes.

    We also played around with combos like PI+chaos storm spam, but honestly I don't know how effective it would be with our current members who aren't used to ints in HA, at least not at the same time as a spike.

    The best thing about rav is that it's technically a pressure, it just happens to deal absurd amounts of direct damage really fast with no energy use. When minions are popped up even when echo rav is on CD we should be at full, the combination of a dom/prot res-mer and the redundant QZ should be enough to insta-drain their monks, pop our non AOE spikes on em post-rav and finish off with aneurysm.

    It's almost like they want bloodspike to be dominant. Ravenous, Unholy Feast, Sig of Agony, Vamp Gaze and mix up the rest to cover snares, anti-rupts, heals, etc. It may be wise to have some of the casters run different blood bars to prevent complicate from killing the effect, but there are enough Necro spike skills that that you could easily have 3 different bars without skill duplication that would all be viable blood spikers.

    It would be awesome to have a full 8 for HA tomorrow. I'm in if others are interested. Anyone want to post a build so we can roll toons beforehand?
    Looking forward to it! :cool:
