XoO Community meeting

Hey guys,

We're planning on having a community meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 930PM (EST).

Our intent for this meeting is to increase community awareness to the progress of other divisions, to mention a few comments that we've been discussing in the Xenate forums and to tackle some questions that the community may have.

If you cannot make it, have a topic you intend to raise at the meeting or both, feel free to reply to this topic so we can prepare an answer or ensure that it is raised at the meeting. We will have a recording of the meeting posted within a few days of the meeting's completion.

i think the idea of consolidation of supported games based on minimum activity level would be important. the idea is that Xen of Onslaught is at the top, and while its awesome for people to stick together to the end, each game has a point where fewer members just shows us as a "has been" of sorts. each game should have that established.

 

I'll be there and I will point the Aion Div members this way too.

Let me know if I have to do anything other than listen in during the meeting.

 

9:30 pm EST that makes around 3:30 am in Europe, and that's during week days.

You're cutting out EU members from said community.

Idea : make a 2nd one at EU times to get input from that part of the community.

 

Well it would be kinda hard to hold 2 meeting's. I would think the best thing they could do is record this meeting and post it for people that could not make it that way they can just listen in on it and then maybe respond to it in a post. Just a idea

Make two meetings, and recap what has been said in the first one at the beginning of the second so people can comment and expand on that with their own input.

 

Should probably put this in Members thread as a sticky or something too. I had no idea this was happening until Harl posted it in the AION forum. Most of us don't even use the front page and my announcements bubble is always red heh.

 

I have a meeting for work that evening, so will not attend.

 

With all the new heads from Aion, I cannot wait to see how jam packed Vent is going to be on Wednesday.

 

We can talk about how we are getting fucked by modern warfare 2.

 

If we were to do that, the meeting would just be filled with Ronin, Sokar, Rowl and myself swearing for an hour.

As for the meeting, its far to late for us Euro guys, especially as its on a weekday. You either need to make it earlier and maybe on a weekend or do another meeting so the euro guys can actually have an input to discuss stuff otherwise its kinda pointless for us guys to be honest.

 

Eskara don't give me this bullshit. I know for a fact that you've been up to atleast 4-5 in the morning on a daily basis for cod4 matches. You cannot hide the truth.

 

Yeah i have, but that was last year and when i didnt have lectures the next morning... I have 4 hours from 9am the morning after the meeting so i cant make it...

In general its not good for the Euro guys anyway, surely you can see that?
