Its pretty basic and gives me as much PvE DPS as possible. I grabbed another point in Mental Agility for my instant cast spells and 1 point into Phantasm for any encounters which snare or immoblize. What is your age? 24 What are your current professions and their raid benefit I have been a Tailor and Enchanter for most of my WoW career on this character. Tailor is for the cloak embroiders and possible raid recipes (later on). Enchanting is for enchanting my own personal gear (and other, guild mates preferably) and the +Intellect to rings. How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished I've had many characters. I have played every class to 60 except Paladin and Druid. On my current account, the one I have had the longest (and my only account now) I have an 80 Undead Rogue, 85 Goblin Priest, and a 70 Human Warlock (now retired). I have done full clears of BWL and MC in Vanilla days (40 mans) on my now retired Gnome Mage (on Drak'thul). My Priest has completed most BC content, included Serpentshrine and Kael'thas encounter pre-'nerf' (title to show for it, for what's that worth). In Wrath I mainly PUG'd Ice Crown due to not being in Xen and being casual due to personal reason but did 10/12 normal with a lot of experience on 'Gosa and some Heroic completions (not fun in PuGs). As of now, I have leveled my Priest from Undead to Goblin and at 85. Currently running Heroics to get Shadow geared up and roll on off-spec for Holy. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc) Currently married, working a full time job 13:00-22:00est Monday-Friday. None of these conflict except for work schedule times. Guild History - where are you leaving and why PUG guilds in WoW, been with Xen since last year and have been active in the Community. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild Joined Xen with Aion launch. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them My cooking is 525, with First Aid (not applicable) and working on my fishing and Arch. Do not mind farming for mats and have enough gold to contribute to guild rations and potions. Provide your raid damage/healing performance. Examples are Recount Screenshot with personal breakdown of attacks, WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs I currently pull around 8k DPS in most Heroics (no screenshots currently for reference). Relearning how to heal again in Cata., was a Discipline priest part-time in Wrath. Provide a screenshot of your UI No UI as of right now, can provide if needed. Its the Blizzard default UI (problems with Bartender not changing bars b/t Shadow and Non-shadow stance, most UIs I used for action bars are not working correctly/updated). Recount and ForteXorcist is what I use currently with basic UI and a map addon (not applicable for raiding) Can you take constructive criticism and being call out on mistakes (both in and out of raid)? Yes Final comments you feel could help your application I'm currently shadow and have been for the most of my Priest's career, but I really enjoy healing and have healed many times during all of WoW's history. Cata. has changed a lot of mechanics for EVERY healing class and while I am relearning how to heal as Holy (spec from Elitist Jerks) and getting gear for Holy I am not 100% capable to heal a 5 man to its full potential. I am not expecting a raid spot but Friend's Rank to play with the Xen community but if scheduling can work out and I can be fit in then I would like to raid as well. I felt that placing an application to describe my WoW career and interests was better for the leadership instead of just transferring over and asking for a guild invite. We'll always give ginvites to XoO people, regardless of whether they've apped. However, there might not be a spot in any of our raid groups at the moment, although Lime should be starting another one up in a week or two. Even though current raid spots are limited, I have some questions for you if/when we do have one open up: Your gems are all over the place. What gives? What gems would you use in each socket color and why? You reforged crit into hit. Why not into spirit? There are other items you could reforge for more dps. Why aren't they reforged yet? What spells do you use, in what order, etc... If a raid spot does open up, it will probably be for a healer. Are you comfortable with healing? You said you were disc in WotLK; why the change of heart? (ps: you traitorous holy jerk!) Sargeras is kind of a backwater server in a backwater battlegroup. Are you going to be ok losing to alliance in PvP on a regular basis and dealing with baddies in PuG dungeon groups half the time? That's all for now. Your gems are all over the place. What gives? What gems would you use in each socket color and why? - Just grabbin' gear and getting what was the cheapest for the most Int depending on gear. I know I would be replacing a lot of it soon with "heroic" gear so I didn't want to blast a lot of cash on very expensive gems. Once I get my gear stabilized and the "best" until raiding then I'll be going back and redoing my gem settings. You reforged crit into hit. Why not into spirit? - I think I reforged once to test its waters, and I needed more hit at the time. Did not go to spirit due to that reason (for the time being). That and have not truly read up on reforging (my own fault) and what I need to max in terms of stats. (Int is the obvious choice, but otherwise). There are other items you could reforge for more dps. Why aren't they reforged yet? - Going back to the "don't blast cash yet until better gear" reasoning - that and I really need to understand more what's best to reforge for Shadow, Holy would be Spirit/Mastery from what I've read on ElitistJerks, Shadow seems the obvious choice would be Hit (if not capped) or Crit? What spells do you use, in what order, etc... Shadow, since Holy seems to be very situational. Usually start off with Vampiric Embrace / Dev. Plague / SW: Pain then start getting my Evangelism Stacks up. Keeping up those dots while Mind flaying and when my 3 S. Orbs hit I throw a Mind Blast out for the VE mana regen and extra damage. Normally don't pop Archangel until I'm a little lower on mana, this might hurt DPS in the short run but the mana gain from it being Shadow is very nice. Basically, keep my dots up, mind flay - 3 ORB stack = Mind Blast, and Archangel for the damage boost / mana gain. If a raid spot does open up, it will probably be for a healer. I've been in a PuG guild right now and mostly 90% of the time do solo LFD, so it wouldn't bug me much. Would, of course, love to do guild-related events.
