WoW (NA)(Sargeras)Character Name Battlekeep What is your class? Warrior What is your main spec? Fury Please link your WoW Armory information http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/sargeras/battlekeep/simple Explain your talent selection (theorycrafting source, specialization choices etc) Fury's pretty OP at the moment. What can ya say? To be honest I miss the MS/Slam spec of Ye-Olden-Days... Regardless, I get most of my information and sources of theorycraft from Maxdps.com, and a little bit from ArenaJunkies. What is your age? 24 What are your current professions and their raid benefit Mining and Engineering. Mining for the Stamina, Engineering for the Goggles I'm working on getting (Kinda took a break from grinding Adamantite. GAH) How long you've been playing WoW and what PvE progression you've accomplished I played WoW from day 1 until a couple weeks before Lich King. I was also a hardcore raider during this time, the best on my server... Miss those days. Regardless I've raided from Molten Core through Illidan with a touch of Naxxramus. I was on hiatus for the Lich King and heard Cata was a returning to Vanilla of sorts... So I made a new account. (Old account isn't mine anymore) Describe how you theorycraft your class (websites, spreadsheets, etc) I'm old school, I remember when I had to piece together a haphazard set of leather, mail and plate... Wielding a Deathbringer and a Core Hound Tooth -- destroying people in BG's, making Rogues cry on the DPS meter. Its total bullshit, and no one would ever believe me but I feel as though I am the Original Rogue-in-Platemail, or one of them anyway. In light of all this I still sometimes cling to the old days of stacking Crit, no one heard of Hit, and Agi was considered a secondary stat. Now, as I mentioned above I rely on Maxdps mostly for my numbers... Though I'm not above trying new things on my own and conducting little experiments. I'm unorthodox at times, but I pull it off -- usually. Haven't had much reason to sit down and theorycraft now that I'm not the Top Warrior on the server though -- Soon. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, schedule, etc) Just got home from Afghanistan and the rest of the family can kiss my ass when it comes to playing on the computer. However I may be landing a Tractor Trailer Recovery job (driving a wrecker) so I'm not 100% sure how that will affect raid times at the moment. The hours may be 9-5... They may be "On-Call 24/7". Time will tell. List scheduling conflicts (include times for possible weekend 10mans) I'm not tied down to a desk job. I can be online whenever I want. Guild History - where are you leaving and why I joined Crazy Eighty Eights a while back because the friend that talked me into playing again was in the 88's. She's still in the 88's but doesn't play nearly as much, go figure... They're pretty casual and their raid group is super cliquish. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild Trade spam, talked to Lime for a while... Good guy. List your raid consumables and your method for maximizing them To be honest? I haven't "RAIDED" since T6. So I won't bullshit you, I don't know whats viable anymore... But you can remedy that by taking 5 minutes to explain what I need to be doing, and by the time the next raid happens I'll be better prepared. Provide your raid damage/healing performance. Examples are Recount Screenshot with personal breakdown of attacks, WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs I'll see if I can get a Recount Data-log screenshot to have upon request .... though I think it'll more or less be a 5 man Heroic ... Provide a screenshot of your UI http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v285/firestorm76/?action=view¤t=MyUI.jpg Can you take constructive criticism and being call out on mistakes (both in and out of raid)? Yes Final comments you feel could help your application I talked to Lime and explained to him that I realize I'm not exactly up to par on the Gear front. However I was interested in presenting an App to hopefully get an invite anyway so that while working towards raid-worthy it might be a bit easier. I realize that upon first glance I don't bring much to the table... However I've spent nearly 10 years in the Army. I listen well, I know when to shut up, I know when to cut up. At the very least I'd like to join to skip the bullshit guilds that hold you back, rather than help you improve as a player and a team. Have you applied to the WoW usergroup? Yes
