Just because I think you Brits need a lesson in humility, I'll say it will go to extra minutes and USA will win by one goal. I'm just saying that. I don't think it will happen, but my national pride drives me to disagree with you.

Argentina will win it all anyways so who really cares which one wins in the first round?

Argentina? Don't be so racist. I believe all nations have an equal chance of winning.

    Normally it's Brazil, not Argentina.

Brazil has a habit of getting wrecked at the WC though.

Tell you what, I predict NZ loses everything.

I am rooting for my team is all.

Brazil has the most wins with 5, but Argentina is still a strong team that even gives Brazil a run for their money. Italy is another good team as well as Uruguay. But, indeed, the best football players come from South America and Europe rather than the U.S.

Italy are good actors, not so much a good team. They only win if they fool the referee.

Wouldn't be offensive if it wasn't true.

technically speaking, Brasil is the best team ever, with 5 world cup wins.

Plus 2 goals for england in that top 10 says it all tbh.

    DA BEARS.

"I'm gonna say, 942 to 1, only because we took the 4th quarter off and let em' score."

Not finals, maybe the world cup at all. I'm not sure how many countries play soccer, but I think 83rd? is near the bottom of the rankings and the bottom 3 of those competing in the World Cup.

I'm also going to have to go with Argentina. Always a fierce team.

    What happened to Colombia?!!? :(

Going with the Netherlands. I watched a lot of their games in Euro '08 and they were badass. Pretty sure they're gonna win group E and pretty sure they can handle anyone coming out of group F.

Also, their orange uni's are awesome.

Netherlands have always been a good team.

However my money is on 4 main teams this year:

    England, Brazil, Argentina and Italy.

Predictions would be france out of qualifying, if they perform the same against SA & Mexico like they did against Uruguay they have no chance.

England are always overhyped, probably the best team for the last 20 years, the technical ability in the premiership coupled with foreign managers bringing the better techniques for improvement has helped, main problem is the midfield isnt balanced right.

Brazil will always be there or there abouts.

Holland & Spain are usually brilliant in qualifying, but rubbish in the latter stages. Still think they should both get to the semi's.
Sneaky feeling is holland will get to the final and lose, especially as they were the strongest side in qualification, though injuries in the last 2-3 months have really hampered them.

Germany will probably be the surprise again, nothing special in qualifying, nothing special post season, they will plod along and get to the quarters or semi's even with having nothing good in their team.

Depending on how it goes i think it will be brazil vs holland in the final with a 3-2 scoreline.
