What are your favorite computer hardware manufacturers?

    For me it would be:

For Computer cases: Cooler Master is my favorite case company, ive owned a couple of Thermaltake cases as well but didnt like them as much as Cooler Master cases.

For Motherboards: Exclusively Gigabyte and Asus. I usually go with Gigabyte though because the quality is on par with Asus and their boards usually cost less money.

CPU: Obviously the only real cpu manufacturer left is Intel, AMD called it quits when they said that they were going to stop competing with Intel.

SATA Hard Drives: for SATA drives I have tried Seagate, Western Digital, and Maxtor hard drives before but ive had the best luck with Western Digital so far so that would be my favorite company for SATA drives.

SSD Hard Drives: I have only owned Crucial drives so far since its a relatively new technology and havent had any problems with it yet, just gotta update the firmware on the SSD's about once every 3 months.

Video Card: I used to use EVGA and XFX because of their lifetime warranties but now that XFX switched over to the AMD/ATI camp and EVGA has done away with their lifetime warranties I think that my next video card will either be an Asus or Gigabyte from Nvidia. The reason that I prefer nVidia over ATI/AMD is because I like their drivers better and I havent used an ATI card is so many years that ive gotten used to using Nvidia products.

RAM: I have tried G.Skill, Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial RAM. My favorite companies would be G.Skill and Corsair because they usually have the best performance and fair prices for the cost/performance value.

Power Supply: I have owned Corsair, Enermax, and Antec power supplies before. The Antec power supply blew up (literally) after about a yr of ownership and Antec was kind enough to replace it within the warranty period for a better power supply than the one I sent them. I ended up selling the replacement on Amazon and getting a Corsair Gold series power supply which has been working without any issues for like 2-3 yrs now on my computer. The Hiper power supply has been on my old pc which I handed down to my younger brother for 4+ yrs now without any issues. The Enermax power supplies that I have owned all worked for 3-4 yrs before dieing on me. Overall I think my preference with power supplies is Corsair though, their power supplies seem the most well built and the company has a good reputation for building quality products.

Sound Card: I have owned a couple of Creative Labs cards but they have really gone downhill over the years, they still offer the best gaming cards on the market I think though but I think that next time I build a pc I will just try to buy a motherboard with good onboard sound instead of getting a separate card.

Case: Lian Li and now Fractal Design. I like my cases quiet and classy.
CPU: *shrug* whoever makes the "best" at the time in the mid-range. Athlon 64s rocked socks for a while. But Intel's 2-year processing advantage is killer these days.
Mobo: Asus, first build was an Asus and it just kinda stuck.
RAM: Crucial also Samsung. Why buy from assemblers when you can get the good stuff from the people that make the chips? Same in SSDs.
PSU: Has to be Seasonic, I might buy something else if you're being pragmatic and on a tighter budget but no one makes them better.
Video: no real preference for this. I do mostly nVidia cards because of drivers.
Sound: Asus makes the best stuff now...but I still have a 1st gen Creative X-Fi PCI-express. No pressing need to upgrade.

Cases: Lian-Li, Windy Soldam, Fractal Design

    CPU: AMD

    RAM: Mushkin, GSkill, Samsung

    GPU: EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte

    PSU: Seasonic, Kingwin, Silverstone

    Motherboard: ASUS

Sound (chip manufacturers): ESS Tech, Wolfson (the actual manufacturer's of hardware I use there is *maybe* only 1 of you that has even heard of the stuff)

Hard drives: every HDD manufacturer is complete crap. You just have to hope you are lucky enough to get a long functioning unit no matter what company you go with

For Computer cases: Bitfenix, love my Prodigy. Also love Silverstone, but i have never owned any of their cases.

For Motherboards: Ive bought 4 asrock mobo's out of the previous 5 mobo's in the last 2 years. never had a problem with any of them. Used to love EVGA mobo's, but since their main BIOS programmer left, they suckass. Will probably switch to MSI their video cards are great, gonna give their mobo's a try.

CPU: Intel, altho AMD APU's are pretty fantastic.

Video Card: MSI, pretty much all i will buy, had lotsa trouble with Sapphire. HIS is pretty nice as well.

RAM: Samsung is fantastic, G.Skill is great as well.

Power Supply: I dunno, i use newegg's brand, rosewill. to me its just a box to allow my stuff to draw enough power.

Sound Card: USB surround headset, never had a sound card.

HDD: I use all Seagate, cheaper and faster then Western Digital.

Overall tho, As long as it isnt Corsair, which i hate, im pretty easy going with most companies. (cept crucial, my M4 is crap)
