it would be so much awsomer if only we could play as a different chapter than the damn ultramarines.

im sure itll be badass, but either having to listen to one of my subordinate warn about my breaches of the codex or knowing in the back of my mind that when all is said and done, ill be executed for my methods, will kinda put a damper on it.

Space Wolves would have been better suited to this kind of game.

what the hell is wrong wtih GW these days? Ultramarines game, Ultramarines movie, Ultramarines-humping codex... i want the good chapters, dammit!

Its just because the Blue of the Ultramarines is somewhat iconic and recognisable. Most non-GW people probably dont even know there are different chapters of space marine!

I personally think this looks a lot of fun, just masses of enemies to blow away and the crazy ork humour to go with it. Couldn't be a better general introduction to the world if you tried imo!

What's with the boom of 40k games upcoming or about to come out?

    Rather odd in my opinion?

Two is a boom? One of which is quite obviously geared towards consoles? Really though, what's odd is that it's taken them so long to come out with more 40k games. They have 5 or 6 (iirc) old old school games, but only 1 modern game (series) for the PC. A horribly dismal representation for all the 40k fans that exist out there.

I agree, it is a great Ip that is only growing. You would think it would have more exposure.

If they wanted to accent the whole Humanity is on the brink of destruction thing they should have made a game about Cadia and you play a Guardsman, not this with the damn smurfs (Ultramarines)... Although I guess getting mowed down by everything else wouldn't be very fun.
