Video settings out of range

    So I can play games such as Warcraft III and Age of Chiv to pass the time, but when I go to play left 4 dead I get the message "out of range". How do I fix this?

    It's setting for resolution/refresh rate is too high for your monitor. look up the safe mode launch method for it and then tweak the resolution settings as needed.
