    I have been told by many many people, that DAOC was a game for me, but the game was gone before i had a chance at it.

    May give this a try

    Now I just have to decide on a realm/class.

    My daoc portal program is giving me some issues. Not sure if i'll be able to resolve them =\

    Yeah i was getting the error on connect.exe just need to fill in the proper installation path from the file menu daocportal.

    Playing on Uthgard made me want more. So I resubbed.
    It's actually pretty fucking great to play still, if you can look past the outdated engine.
    The mechanics are just stellar and there's plenty of action.

    The leveling has become really streamlined, too, and one might even consider it a bit too easy to hit 50 now, but I don't blame them for making those changes after 12 years.

    I hit 50 today, and had a blast running around getting my (hardly geared at all) ass kicked in RvR. :p
    The only thing I wish never had changes the the frontier zones. The old ones were a blast, and would've been so awesome with the new keeps. Ah well, we can't have it all.
