New Tomb Raider game coming out, but it's more or less a prequel to the other ones. It's supposed to be more open world, with a focus on survival on an island instead of just running around temples all day. Cinematic trailer is here. http://www.ign.com/videos/2011/06/02/tomb-raider-trailer

I dunno how I feel about this. Over the years they seemed to get worse.

I had read a huge article is the PS Mag, actually looks really good and interesting. Their primary goal was to make a game where lara isn't considered an invincible god.. she gets hurt quite a bit in this one, and the scars carry through the game.

I love the new Lara too. No more ridiculous outfit where she wears a tank top and short shorts through a jungle with impossible boobs. Now she looks good without compromising realism.

Great video but that's all it is. When gameplay is released we'll see what it's about.

I like the direction they are tanking the game in. If any of you ever played MGS3 (Where he had to perform survival techniques in the jungle, such as eating, stealth, healthcare) then you will probably understand why I want this game to take the same path. The whole survival aspect of the game was incredible, yet has not been repeated for some unknown reason.
