It might be just me, but after viewing the multiplayer gameplay (since there is no single-player mode), it looks like a complete snorefest. Nothing interesting in terms of gameplay. Not only that, but the graphics are hideous for this day and age of big-budget games. No thanks, Respawn. I'll wait for the epic title known as Destiny, which will be infinitely better than this tryhard FPS.

I will be buying a PS4 for Destiny and Second Son. : ) Hopefully it offers a nice niche between PC MMO commitment and the quick experience.

As someone who never got into Borderland's gameplay, Destiny doesn't excite me at all.

The Division on the other hand....

Well it is hard to compare destiny to titanfall...Titanfall being team based pvp.
Destiny a co-op game where you have instances where you interact with other players in co-op mode. Its open world but you do not interact with other players..cept in instances.

both will be fun...in their own ways.

and destiny is not announced for pc...at least not yet.

As far as I understood Destiny is an open world game but has open world character phasing to limit exposure to other players. Similar to most MMOs (Guild Wars 2/WoW/Etc) have multiple copies of the same map that is populated by players until a certain count is reached. It is completely possible to run into random players while adventuring or when certain events are triggered which would phase more players into the same area.

Seamless instance technology is the smoke and mirrors of open world games. There is only a very few number of games in existence that don't use some form of instancing serverside.

Titanfall is going to be 6 v 6 with AI support. I hope enough people in XoO pick this up for PC because I would love to play it with people.

saw the latest gameplay vid and it looked good...

couple of point that i dont like

the maps look small..only 6 players to a team...with each having a titan following them it makes 24...but still only 12 players.

There is tons of AI thought. I think they want to keep the game competitive focused for the standard mode - CS:GO competitive is played at 5 on 5 and COD I believe is similar. They really should have a number of playmodes like other FPS were you could increase the amount of players (or at least give those options to PC since the console isn't powerful enough).

Only 6 v 6 for Titanfall ??? Even on PC ??? That seems wayyyyyyy not many players here.

I've preordered it already but i believe that, back then, 32 players was mentionned.

12 players per map would suck ass, either the map's the size of a shoe box or u spend more timer running around than gunning.

If u got a ton of bots it can be good but it really depends if they are UT quality bots or crap ass bots.

Anyway i bought it already and i kinda wanna play it :)

5 v 5 on CS is like, back in the 90s, where u had to carry ur tower around in LAN tournaments with peeps sleeping under the desk and shit and the whole hangar smelling like a zoo. Where guys had to team up in the only car belonging to a team member, a crappy Renault or a 1980 VW Golf... Damn those were some hardcore moments.

Also has a custom controller for the Xbox 1. Tempted to pick it up to use later on the PC but without knowing the plans that Microsoft has for its controllers I am going to wait (and I need to save money <_<)
