For 48 hours on Origin http://www.gamebreaker.tv/deals/titanfall-now-free-for-48-hours-of-play-time-half-price-afterwards/ It's A 50g download so if you got a cap enter at your own risk time doesn't start until you start playing it.
Actually, it's far from free. From what I've heard, it's like a Steam free weekend, except it's shit: you only get to launch the game once. That means that if the game crashes, you need to change video settings, you lose power, your windows auto-updates, you turn the game off before going to sleep, hit Alt + F4 by accident, etc., you are denied access to the game. Compare that to Steam, where you get 72 hours of free play without restrictions and get to continue playing the game after the event ends, as long as the game doesn't stop running. And let's not forget the fact that Origin is simply glorified spyware and has TOS that legally grants them full access to (and right to copy at your expense) all of your computers' data that has ever existed while Origin was installed and share/sell it as they see fit, with no option of opting out of the whole thing...
Don't know who told you that but they are lying to you. I played a match stopped shut down the game and origin loaded it back up and played another match just fine. Seems like everything was accessible to me as well. It's no different from steam Free weekends. Also they changed their TOS to be no different then Steam if you can accept what Steam is allowed to do you shouldn't have any problem with Origin at this point. God knows there are far worse things to hate about EA if that's all your looking for.
Titanfall is worth the money to buy it. So if you are interested at all in it then I'd download the free weekend to try it out.
well buy it at half off lol The game needs a lot of work and is not competitive at all but runs smooth and is probably one of the best newer fps games out. Sadly...
