If you guys don't know, the ESPY Awards were handed out last Sunday, and it was a great event. However, one of the highlights of the event was the Best Male Athlete Award. And who won? Tiger Woods. But he didn't accept the award. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvngjWcwAOU And if you're like me and you like Justin Timberlake, you'll probably enjoy his "I Love Sports" song he did about halfway through the show. I loved it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns5_NtYvS2I
Best Male Athlete is rather vague, isn't it? I equate that to speed and agility, and golfers do nothing like that. It's like shooting pool.
Some of the comments are down right hilarious "i couldnt agree more. golf is one of the toughest sports to master, it takes a lot. U have to be athletic, smart, patient, and quiet and you are dead tired when ur done." "do u have the downs u fucktard? golf is one of the hardest sports there is. if tiger isn't an athlete, then why aren't you out there outdoing tiger? you dumbass, if you dont know what you're talking about shut the fuck up." "the point is people see golf as a sport for old fat guys. Sure they can play it, but that doesn't mean that they are any good. To be truly good at golf you half to work hard pretty much every day. not to mention what it takes mentally to be a good golfer" Mentally to be a good golfer???? Because it is hard to concentrate on a sport when there is no cheering or yelling to distract you. As much as I bash on baseball as well, look at what you have to be able to do to hit a fast ball. I think you have to have a reaction time some where around .4 seconds or something, THAT is mentally strong.
