I think at first glance the idea is kinda dumb, but if you think about it, the mayor and his idea are really great. Instead of not listening to citizens complaining, or passing dumb laws, or starting more trouble with the "teens", he heard the people he is serving, saw the problem, and came up with a solution that was easy and doesnt hurt anybody.

Due to being overpaid, our congress is not there to work for us. They are there to work at continuing to get paid by the people while hiding it behind the old "Republicans vs Democrats" battle.

I still don't see how this makes everyone happy? I mean the bench will still be dirty from their feet.. and I don't expect non-teen to sit on the top part so how is that win?

why don't they just put studs on the top and make it uncomfortable to sit on?

because now there are two benchs, "they" have a bench for sitting on top now.

of course that means the kids will have to come up with a new way of sitting, they cant conform...its not cool.

Yeah but they are still getting the normal seat dirty.

I think the idea is that those are teen only benches and normal benches are near. Because I can't see an 85 year old man climbing up to sit there.

Installing spikes on current benches would be more economical and actually work out.

They conform pretty fast to what the rest of their age group thinks is cool. Here they'd be called names not fit for publication by their own peers if they did that.
