1. Age (18+ Requirement): 19, turning 20 in Sept 2. In-Game Name: Strike is most likely gonna be taken so something like xXStrikeXx/xTxStrikexTx 3. Do you have TeamSpeak3 and a mic?: I've used vent up till now but ill download ts and get it working. I just bought the Roccat Kave so im looking forward to testing the mic out. 4. Previous gaming experience: hmm… where to start… Well as far as I could remember I’ve been gaming ever since I got a NES with 8-bit Mario, but you could say I started playing competitively online when halo first came out. I have been playing halo (the 1st one on pc) for more than 4 year and was registered on HaloTL, where my clan was ranked top 5 and I was ranked in the top 75. For those of you who know what Im talking about I have played against GB, oS, B-52, mrl, +CP+ just to name a few old clans. Then the college exams came around and I cut down on my hours considerably. Three years ago I tried to get back into it but with new halos on xbox almost everyone moved on, leaving me with nubs n hackers. Some other online games that I’ve played on the side are Lunia - played when it was by ijji before the move to 12foottall, was very enjoyable to juggle ppl across the map SotNW - awesome until the lv 20 cap for free users… g** Maplestory - after hunting snails and slimes to the brink of extinction I decided enough was enough 2moon - nothing special didn’t live up to the hype Shaiya - was I the only one who felt it was a grind fest at lv 20? Cabal Online - started since closed beta. I had a lv 130+ heavy blader, stopped playing bout 2 years back because end game content was almost non-excitant. S4 - again awesome and fast paced (3.2 k/d) but got broken with cash items that give you +3469736 attack power PerfectWorld (private server) - ehh Dungeon fighter - almost lv 40, it was fun but idk why it started lagging really hard for me that I couldn’t join any rooms. WoW - after being peer pressured into it and reaching lv 60… I want my time back >_< These past two years I have been mostly enjoying single player games with deep story lines like mass effect, bioshock, fallout 3, and dragon age, O and the final fantasy series. I am also a big fan of shooters as you can tell like CoD, GoW and Crossfire (im on from time to time). Three more words: Super Smash Brawl. 5.Why did you choose XoO?: Besides the badass name? I truly missed the feeling of being part of group that not only has your back but also play on the same level as you. As part of a community I remember having one person shout help on the guild chat and hundreds of ppl showing up just to cause a major lag in the town lol. Playing with strangers can be a gamble and there’s always the chance of being ninja looted. Well the main reason is the unity of this group; I have seen guilds full of top players fall apart in a matter of months, but XoO has 1000+ members and are continuing to grow. Obliviously you guys know what you’re doing. 6. Why do you think you'll be a good fit?: Well if it’s about performance ill be second to none, I always do research on the games that I am dedicated to. And when I say research I mean I go all out; for halo I memorized every reload speed, spawn points, shield regen rate, grenade flight time and distance, spread of the bullets, and lead distance for lag (shoot ahead of your targets). In wow I was giving lv 80 archers advice when I was lv 60. I’m not new when it comes to teamwork either during clan wars or raids. The sniper is indeed a powerful and tempting weapon but if someone is better than me in sniping then ill leave it for them. Same goes with epic drops, if someone has shittier gear and desperately need it then give it to them. Ill probably a little shy in the beginning but im really fun to be around and great at making friends. 7. + 8. What will you contribute to the guild? How will you improve our guild and be a valued member?: I have been vice guild leader or on the council for many clans throughout different games so I have experience in how guilds work. In the past I have created guild sites (of course not as good as this) and hosted in-guild events such as a lottery and tourneys. I also have 3 years of experience with photoshop so I can make everything from wallpapers to sigs (your animated banner looks awesome btw). So if any help is needed don’t hesitate to ask because most likely I know how to do it, and if not ill look it up. I am also willing to take up professions that are needed in the game. For example everyone wants to craft epic swords and godly chest plates, but it doesn’t do any good when there’s 50 guys making them. If needs be ill be the shoe maker to add some variety. 9. Do you have a referal?: nope sorry 10. A little bit about yourself: My name is Colin and I live in NY. Im very active and lets see… I have swam for 11 years, played tennis for 5 yrs, varsity cross country 4 yrs, track/field (like long jump n hurdles) 2 yrs, skiing for 7 yrs, racquetball for 2 yrs, and just sailed competitively for 1 yr. I play sports not watch them so don’t ask me how many points LeBron scored cause I have no idea haha. So if im not online you know what im up to. 11. Activity Level? (hrs/week): id say 40hr+ a week, holidays are a different story though. I often go on vacations so sometimes I won’t be here for the three day weekends, should be back before the end of the week though. If this happens ill be sure to let the right person know ahead of time. 12. Apply to usergroup: hold on… got it Hows this for length kyoji? P.S.- I suck at pronouncing names (that means you Xamiazi ) so I apologize beforehand for offending anyone.
looks good and it seems as though you have done your research. Xamiazi should reply soon enough with information on how to complete your application process as well as interview setup. Best of luck.
I was a D-1 athlete for 3 years, I know what you mean. Your application looks spot on. If u can pronounce my name u can call me Xami (Zam-E) or Joe, idc.
