Nobody is talking about the new star wars game? I know it doesn't have a release date in the near future but definitely one of my most anticipated games
There's actually several threads about swtor, but since the devs went silent for a while before suddenly releasing info on most of the classes we all already talked out most of what we wanted to However!, there are a few threads kicking around. edit: although, personally... I'll be playing a Sith Inquisitor.
Shrug that's up to you me I'm going with SW simply because Cryptic games have never really satisfied me. And a Star Trek game just doesn't make sense to me.
Why choose between the two, STO is coming out real soon and SWTOR is quite a ways down the road. I'd say chances are you will have gotten your kicks with STO by the time SWTOR actually releases. But if you ask me what to choose if you could only play one, it would be SWTOR for sure, it's gunna be the better game.
Star Wars is going to be a game where every class has it's own 200 hour storyline of quests. You can play all the classes through all their story quests and not repeat one quest. Plus, the combat just looks fun as shit with aoe stuff, melee stuff, ranged stuff, crowd control, cover, jetpacks (!!), the whole nine yards of goodness. And of course PvP is natural with Star Wars. I can't wait to play this game. Rebel scum!

I will definately be giving star wars tor a try at least, I am pretty much done with Aion. No desire to play the game anymore but I would like to play with XoO in other games. I won't preorder until they offer something or until its closer to release. I remember hearing AoC people talking about how they had to cancel and re-order due to similar problems.
anybody disappointed with kotor comic ending at issue 50 in a few months? hopefully they will take another plot direction with other characters and continue on until the game comes out so i can get my old republic fix i mean, they haven't even reached the time frame of the first game...
yeah, i've got many more books to read... im finishing up the NJO era right now, but ive got a bunch of the republic era things still to come.
