Starcraft II: Interest

Hey everyone,

I was hoping to collect a consensus about the number of people interested in Starcraft II. It looks like it's going to be a big game and I would imagine this community would be interested in pursuing something a little more official.

Any thoughts?

PS I saw the other SC2 thread, just looking to get something a little more clean and specifically about XoO's involvement.

 

I plan on playing, but hopefully not the extent I played orig SC. Wish I had some of those years back. lol

 

I plan on playing this game to death. My enthusiasm shows in the thread I keep updated which you mentioned. I hope many people in XoO get and play this game. We need an RTS division

 

That is the plan, Comm. Starcraft II is going to be awesomely competitive and team oriented, I think it would fit right in with XoO. Will need some leaderships. *nudge nudge*

I can't guarantee I'll play it competitively a lot - it looks interesting, but I've never been very good at RTS games. I do want to mod the hell out of it though, so I'll probably buy it the day it comes out.

 

Now this is what I like to hear. Maybe we can get good enough to place well in ICCUP. Assuming that they keep it going into SCII.

 

I'll definitely practice whenever I can if we can get enough competitive players together.

 

Modding as per usual. RTS generally isn't my thing but the engine is interesting.

 

Im an FPS player but my favorite competitive games are RTS's.

 

I have never played RTS on an intensely competitive level. I would like to though, a nice change from RPGs at least. Comm you think maybe we can get together and talk about this on vent?

We should definitely have a meeting to discuss this game. I still think it might be a little early because beta isn't even out yet. I'm hoping for November for the beta. But when that starts we should start getting organized for sure.

 

Well I love SC best RTS of all time so yes I'll own this.. I'll try to play competitively but don't think I'll make the cut..

 

A prelim get together would be a good start. I'm also hoping that with a community this size would would get to see a few beta keys.

 

I pray to God that I get in... but if I dont I have a few people willing to share with me I think.

 

Hehe. I might be able to throw some weight around if I get a blog up, we'll see.

 

Id be willing to share if I got one or if anyone else did. Because I know I can trust Xen Members.

 

I want to get back into competitive sc gaming.. I used to do well in WCG and WGT tourney's they had back in the day... Good shit..
