Anyone else watching this? I would assume you must be from canada if you did. Not sure where space is from exactly. I took the opportunity to watch all the old star trek films and I must say they all were quite fun to watch. The first one was an exception to that though. It was a little slow to get going and when it finally did well...... it wasn't much quicker.

Yeah I've seen most of them this week, but I've seen them all before too. Which are your best/worst picks?

I liked Star Trek II the best "KHANNN!!!" followed by First Contact.

Star Trek V was just...just...awful. Insurrection was pretty lame too (joystick on the Enterprise?)

I'm looking forward to the new one.

I'm surprised Sci-Fi or TV Land didn't put this on.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first one actually. It seemed really drawn out. I enjoyed the last 5 from that era and i can't say I really hated any of them. I didn't thiink V was that bad at all. It was humorous, especially when kirk was questioning the so called god. One that I didn't enjoy too much was Nemesis. It just didn't seem to fit with the rest very well.

Yeah I've been wondering why SciFi hasn't done a movie marathon of star trek.. Like, EVER.

The only thing they do is Next Generation marathons every month or so. Not even classic ST.

The best ones were II and IV. The first one was lame because they spent like 10 minutes of nothing just getting to V-Ger.

#4 was okay as long as you don't think of it as a sci-fi movie.

Sex in the City was okay as long as you don't think of it as a romantic comedy ;)

I didn't think 4 was that bad. I thought it had some good laughs and was an interesting change of pace. It was almost like the episode where crazy bones was traveling back in time and kirk and spock had to go and intercept him so he didnt change the timeline. Except they had gone even further back in time. I think it was the early 1900's they warped to.

I just got the first 6 films on bluray ^.^ from bestbuy ^.^ pumped!!
