I'll try the game out again but I'm just tired of downloading 25gigs just to be able to play for 5minutes until the game consistently crashes or minimizes because they can't keep my mouse cursor in the main screen.
So far this patch has been pretty stable for me. However when Friendly and I were testing some stuff he crashed once. Not to mention the match making server broke with the server load. So it's probably not perfect. It'll probably work itself out in a few days. There is free access to all ships right now I think. Got to mess around a bit with the Gladius. It's a nice ship. The super hornet is still a beast even with the weapon changes. The REC store is open. I believe everyone has 5000 REC to start with so you can rent weapons and shields for a week ranging in price from 500 REC to 1500 REC. Ships are more expensive. The Gladius will be 9000 REC for example. I played one match online and managed to get 13 kills. This gave me around 3000 REC by the end of the 20 minute match. So at that rate one could have enough to rent a ship for a week in about an hour. +/- This seems reasonable. They do need to get a real patcher working soon. 25GB a download is getting a bit much now.
I hear the game is going to be over 100gb at release ... that is ABSURD but ill just buy another SSD just for star citizen at this rate
