1. Age (18+ Requirement): 23 2. Name (Forum & IGN): Forum: AKADoshan IGN: Narji (If available) 3. Location + Timezone: UK+1 (Amsterdam) 4. Class: Spirit Master 5. Do you have vent and a mic? (Vent will be mandatory, even if you do not have a mic, you must be able to connect and listen in): Yes to both! 6. Previous gaming experience: Hmm, quite a few. : MMO's, FPS, RTS... let's say I was a gamer by the age of eight. But I'm sure you're not eager to know how I rocked some socks by owning with Pac man or being that strategic mastermind sending his Lemmings to victory. Here's a recap of my somewhat "up to date" gaming experiences: I used to play a lot of Diablo II and Jagged Alliance 2. I then moved to a game called PlanetSide, which is, in my opinion, one of the best fps mmo I have ever played. This is where I met my long time friend known as AKARazorback, - I used to be in his outfit. After that, I caught the scent of WoW (yeepers!) and joined my friend's guild. We had quite some members, could all get along really well but after a while disband because the focus was going towards PVP. AKARazorback quit when wotlk came out, I continued. The classes I've been playing are: (Paladin - level 80) (before tbc/wotlk) I think I saved a file with all my tanking praises (I know, sad) . Quit after three years of joyfully tanking everything out there with success. (Mage - level 71) I was decent with the class, but never found the proper motivation to squeeze out everything I could. (Destruction Warlock- level 70) I think... along with my paladin, this was the best class I enjoyed of all before wotlk. Got quite a name for myself on this toon as well, the CC was great, the debuffs were amazing. I loved the micromanagement. Thats why I want to play Spiritmaster. (Priest - level 80) Seeing as tanking got repetitive after doing it for 3 years, I gave healer a try. I admit it was interesting at first, but the lack of "control" bummed me out. I guess it's just not for me. I quit wow after the latest patch. The game has become a shell of its former self. There's no fun in it anymore. Other games I have played lately next to the Aion beta weekends: Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142 Guild Wars, Killing Floor, Call of Duty 4, Age of Conan 7. Why did you chose XoO: AKARazorback and I have been doing the Aion beta weekends together. While I was crunching numbers and eating my way through some classes, he went looking for pvp vids and browsed the recruitment forums and stumbled onto you guys. From there on, he's been feeding me tidbits of information and it slowly led me into visiting the forums. XoO seems to be a friendly, organized group of people that value the same ideas I found important in an online gaming community back in the days. I still hope this kind of foundation exists within XoO, aka team play! Having fun and making a name for ourselves in Aion (in a good way that is!). 8. Do you have a referal?: AKARazorback. 9. A little bit about yourself: When I played WoW I was pretty obsessed with it. But it has grown more acceptable with the years. Now I play a game for fun. Next to gaming I am studying Special Effects and Film as well. So if you need me to film/edit something, or make some sort of introduction movie for the guild, feel free to ask - I'm willing to help out since it's also good practice for me! And best of all - fun to do. Gamewise, I'm all about team play. I don't moan about gear - drops are priorities for the people who need it most. I like to lead small groups through dungeons. Seeing as I've been tanking most of my time in mmo's, I got used to marking up stuff and pulling said stuff. And if I'm not in charge, I'll usually share my thoughts on the situation. I prefer to play a tactical role. Spirit Master seems to fit this role so far. I know the class has a lot of balancing issues, but I won't back away from the class like many others are doing. I've always played the "underdog" classes, and I've always made a name for myself wherever I go. I might be quiet when it comes to talking on Ventrilo. I'm not used to talking to big groups via voice chat. But I'm sure that will change when I get to know people better. 10. Activity Level? (hrs/week): It really depends on what's going on in life. It's safe to say that I'll be online about every day. Could be online for a few minutes, maybe 10 hours. If you would like to know the average amount of time per week, let's say around 25/30 or more. 11. Applied to usergroup? I'll have a look as soon as I can.
Thanks for the application. Ive PMed you the vent details, when would be the best time for you to jump on so we can have a quick chat about you app?
