Hey everyone i recently built a computer. It has an onboard sound card and i was wondering if that would be why my sound is so low, i have all the volume controls on max and its still INSANELY low. If i purchased a new sound card do you think that would fix my problem? I have updated all drivers and everything, did nothing for me. Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd check your auxillary audio cable. Make sure it's snugly plugged in and try another cable. Also, some integrated sound solutions come with their own software which needs to be installed in order to adjust the sound volume. If you must purchase a new sound card, I believe it will fix the issue.
