Sony account banned?

    Anyone else experience having their sony or station account banned? I haven't even used mine since DCUO was sub based....

    COuld have been shut down because people were trying to access it too much, or because it had been inactive for so long. Sony has had millions of accounts hacked and leaked (in 4 or 5 separate occassions within the last year), including any CC info you had attached to your Sony account. Seems sensible that any account not logged into in a long time would be closed if strange activity seemed to be happening on it.

    Yeah it was having me jump through all kinds of hoops to reactivate it and then it says its banned and to go to another part of the site to reactivate it, but then wouldn't let me login to that site with the new credentials.

    Guess I will have to call during the week.

    Mine was banned a while back after I stopped playing SOE games for a while. Some guy had used my account to buy Everquest 2 and had about 4000 station cash on it lol. Even had his credit card info in and everything when they unlocked it for me.

    Didn't they shut a bunch of inactive account down because of all the security breaches? I remember this bing an issue once before. New account ended up being the solution.
