Sims 3

Is anyone else getting Sims 3 or am I the only one? Apologies in advance if there has already been a thread on this..

I will be.. I just hate that when ever there is a new sims, you have to buy all the new expansions (when they come back out)
Like having pets.. no pets till they make an expansion for it.

I kind of wish they would start where they left off on the old xpacs. I guess they have to make money somehow =/

 

I've had it for a couple weeks now. Kinda lame that you can't make a new city like you could in the old ones. Supposedly there will be a new city for d/l when the game is released tho.

I got mine through gamestop for the CE. I hope I get it the day of release..

 

I'm getting it. Amazon.com claims that it will arrive at my door tomorrow. I don't really know anything about it, but I did like the Sims and Sims2 when they came out. I am afraid that they did not hold my interest long enough for expansion packs though.

 

getting it through amazon also, got 1 of those sims cards from best buy just to see what the online items are. goes for 10$ but on sale for 5$

 

We'll be getting it. It's my wife that's mainly in to it though, not out till Friday over here in the UK though.

 

been playing the bootleg since it leaked, might get retail but im cheap. I had a rock star but my game crashed causing me to lose several days of work so I am now a retired master thief running for mayor. I also have many many illegitimate children

 

So far I am not that impressed ... it's been a while since I played 2, but I don't see a great deal of difference. I'm considering Ebay, honestly, as I think I want a few bucks more than I want this mouldering on my hard drive.

 

I'm not either really. But its still fun. Only real change is less loading screens and a higher degree of object customization.. which are both really nice IMHO.

I kind of wish they would allow network play though..

 

I like the living town tbh....I like going over peoples houses and clogging up their toilet

 

its fun being a bum in this game. Just go to the gym to use bathroom and shower. go to the park and eat a free picnic basket. and sleep anywhere you want.

and more fun be a kleptomaniac and you can steal other people's stuff

 

Yep its a little ridiculous what you can actually steal when being a klepto.. somehow I stole some lamp while outside not sure where I got it from but I had it in my bag..

hahaa.. the game is seriously a lot of fun. I've spent most of my time trying to make homes which take can days.

I keep trying to beat up the cleaning person but all I can manage is mean/scare..

How do you sleep anywhere you want? (do you get energy or whatever back?)

 

usually sleep on benches, but best way. get invited to someone house and figure out when they go to work. When at work you can sleep in their beds and eat their food. Cant do this when there home, because they get mad for some reason...
