thought this was pretty hilarious.

so heres a question, what other dubious things have you had first hand expieriance of GM's getting up to?

also no flaming of AoC or i will kill your cat/family pet.

 

That was hilarious. I wish I could find a GM like that, take a screeny and sue for a quick buck.

 

I was talking to a GM once in Wow, and talking about something I forgot which, and the GM was like "yeah, I am trying to get my paladin all that same honor badge gear too"

I was like, "Why not just give it to yourself?"

She said, "I would rather do it legitly."

I chuckled.

 

I got turned on a little too.

 

a GM in WoW on Garithos was actually a member of us in Guild Wars, and had heard great things about our wow section........

This is even better than the lady who was trading getting mounted for her epic mount in WoW (read: NSA sex for in game gold, wow nerds dream come true?)

Yaknow, the other night I was setting up an autoshop in a kgrind game I really enjoy and the thought started to kind of sink in.... none of these items are real... they hold no value past what could could draw on a piece of paper and roleplay... yet we spend a good deal of our lives shut up and literally grinding at these games as if they were work. The whole thought I can think up, but as soon as the reality hits me the last big ties to online gaming are sure to follow. That's my sad realization.

 

and dosent that just fill you with joy?! now on a very serious note, we play games like jobs because the sad fact is in 3 years time we will be payed big money for this, think of it like ... an investment
