1. Character Name, Class, and Main Spec: Revelence Retribution Paladin 2. Armory Link (and talent choices explained): http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sargeras&cn=Revelence 3. Age (18 is required with limited exceptions): 17...18 in 2months 14 days 4. List your current professions and describe how they help when raiding: Enchanting...gives a base of 80 attack power Jewelcrafting...gives 3 34 strength gems to put in red sockets 5. Time playing WoW and PvE progression: I've being playing since patch 2.4 which is a little over 2 years. My PvE progression didn't become serious in BC just began "serious" raiding when Wrath hit. So BC up to 3/4 tk. In wrath so far I'm 11/13 in Ulduar 25 13/13 in 10 man... cleared toc 10/25....madskill in togc 10 49 attempts left on multiple occations... togc 25 I'm 3/5... ICC I'm 10/12 in 10 man and 8/12 in 25. 6. Describe your method for theorycrafting your class: Basically I try and stay current through mmo-champion on whats happening with my class with the next patch. Then I start sifting through post on elitist jerks or mmo about the Ret paladin class ( the flame post are funny). Sometimes I'll go onto World of logs and check the standing of paladin dps on all ICC fights and compare it to my own. Then i check armories and see what gear these paladins are using. I also have a buddy in a top 20 guild in US..his name is Celestial.. hes talked to me a few times about the ret paladin in his guild and what he does. I try and incorporate every little thing i learn into my spec/rotation/play style. 7. Occupation and living arrangements that impact raiding (family, classes, dorm, night shifts etc): I'm a busser at a banquet hall. Mostly do weddings and the majority of these events happen during the weekend shouldn't be an issue. I'm currently living at home with my parents and I'm also a senor in High School. Starting soon i will be having baseball practice usually from 3-5 everyday (eastern) so i shouldn't have any problems making the raids. 8. Guild you are leaving and why (If you join another guild without following up here, application will be closed): <Unfair Advantage> Well i talked to Iret a little about it. Essentially the GM and an Officer got in a screaming match in Ochat , in vent, coming down to several people leaving. The guild was formed with a merge from my old guild < Offline > so the guild was already sort of split up. Well anyway for the past 2-3 weeks I was bared from raids to the point that they raided progression with less then 25 and also they invited pugs over me. This was all because i was good friends with the Officer that the GM had a screaming match with. 9. How did you hear about us? List any friends/references within the guild: I've know about you guys since BC.. also I'm very active on the sargeras community forums. Xanderlock 10. List consumables you bring to raid: Potion of Speed(when i can), Flask of Endless Rage 11. Any Scheduling conflicts (consider possible weekend groups for 10mans): Not really... I mean a possible conflict with a 10 man on the weekend if I'm working. 12. Provide measure of your damage/healing such as Recount (Screenshot to include player breakdown of attack %'s), WoW Web Stats (WWS), or World of Logs listing: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/ergrgje4jjjj0bnz/sum/damageDone/ note my dps on saurfang is due to the fact that i usually taunt the blood beast back through the hunter trap if it starts to get close to range. It helps lower blood count and helps dps them down better. 13. Provide a UI screenshot: http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt197/slayermev/WoWScrnShot_022810_160741.jpg?t=1267412076 New Ui 14. Final comments you feel could help your application: Essentially apps are only words you type out to make yourself presentable. The only way to truly measure a person is to see them play and how they mesh with the raid and how they perform. Thank you for reading this app.
Saurfang add taunting without switching /cast [target=mouseover] Righteous Defense /cast [target=mouseover] Cleanse You can set grid (or whatever unit frames you use) up to show who has aggro or a magic debuff and taunt off them or use cleanse. You'd have to solve your clicking problem first but that's not hard. It will also allow you (for saurfang) to continue your rotation, uninterrupted, without switching targets. No loss of dps. I'd expect any paladin who raids with us to be able to do this. And this is just an example, I'm sure there are other ways.
hand of reckoning would probably be more common for maintaining dps since it does damage and is off the gcd anyway.
