    Long time no see!

The company I work for just released a new trailer for our game coming out in June.

    http://ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/1423...s/redfaction_trl_weapons_vehicles_031009.html

It's an open world game with dynamic destruction. No, it's not like Red Faction 1 destruction where you can drill tunnels with rockets, it's different; it's destruction of man made structures like buildings, walls, bridges, fortresses.

I've done quite a few in-house multiplayer tests which have been awesome. The destruction adds a lot of gameplay; the weapons, backpack powers and game modes are lot of fun.

    Heya Isurus,

Is it as fun though as drilling a pointless hole in a multiplayer match then watching another player explore it to the dead end then get nuked with the uber rocket you fired down it at them?

Looks fun. Is there going to be a PC version?

KM: well, since you can't drill holes in the ground, you can't do that. but there are other awesome things you can do like drop a building on someone(s), hammer someone thru a wall when they thought they were safe, use the rail-driver to shoot through walls (has a scope to see through walls), using one of the various many backpacks to get kills, dropping a bridge under someone who drops into a canyon.

there are remote charges, so there's lots of fun to be had with those.

multiplayer is going to be very very very fun, probably the most fun MP game of the year, IMO.

@Valindria: yes, there's going to be a PC version, and most (all maybe?) of the porting will be done in-house from what I understand, so it'll be a good port.

Wait a second... you work for Volition? Small, small world...

(I used to play the Descent and Freespace games, so I remember them pretty well from then.)

P.S. Definitely ahead of Crysis from a physics perspective.

if i remember correctly Isurus is doing graphics and what not for them. He worked on Saint's row with volition as well.

    Video looks sick as hell.

    Wait, PS3 .ign.com? Heard enough.

    J/k :p Looking forward to the 360 version. I'm a RF1 & 2 veteran.

Big disappointment right there... that was the best thing the game had going. But I've seen the vids and it still looks promising.
