So my current mouse, that I have had since 2005 is about to die. Scroll wheel is not responding at times, and I think it is time to replace it.

So I was thinking of getting the Razer Naga.

Anyone else have it or know someone who has it/had it? Is it worth it? Any feedback would be helpful..

I have one, I fucking LOVE IT! It is amazing. The only thing I have a problem with are the 10,11,12 buttons in the back are kind of hard to reach with a twitch motion. Other then that the two top side buttons are great for vent and are pretty easy to reach. The wire is pretty on long too. Takes some practice to get use to it and there is a certain hand push/pull movement you have to get right to hit the buttons right, but other then that I fucking love using this shit for any kind of game or if I am too lazy to type numbers.

yeah, I always have trouble hitting like alt +5 or shift control 3 lol random stuff like that will help I think.

Every review I have read, people say it increases their response time.

This pritty much sums it up from me too. I have a prototype version of the Razer Naga that I had imported before they started producing them for the public.

    Pros -

Stupid amount of buttons all easy to use
Stops having to use extra keys such as shift clicking
    Gives faster reaction time
Really good feel and capabilities (I used to play Aion instances with just one hand)

    Cons -

Takes alittle bit of of time get get used to, especialy the way it fits in hand (works out better though)
.....actually not sure i can think of any more problems with it.

All in all I recoment everyone to buy this, I have had no problems and its has been one of my greatest gaming weapons.

Another thing about this mouse is that it is 5000dpi and adjustable. The laser engine is just incredible for the price, not to mention the feature set. Another thing you hae to realize is that the buttons take away either your number keyboard line or your number pad, so if you rely heavily on both of those, this may not fit like you want it too. Personally, the keypad is just junk on my keyboard, why would I ever want to reach all the way over there? I have used my son's Naga a few times (he absolutely loves it and couldn't think of competing in WoW arenas without it now) and I have a hard time getting used to the hand position, it is very different from my MS Gaming mouse. But I can say, it is not hard to use, the buttons are pretty easy to get used to (especially the front 9, the rearmost 3 are a bitch for me). Anyway, this is a solid product that requires a bit of training, but once done will really pay off.

I'd hate to pay $100 for a mouse... and I'm one who spends lavishly. Would kick ass for MMOs though.

Ok so I got the mouse today.. but.. what the hell? Razer's site moves pretty fast, but when trying to get to the driver page so I can get the app to work with the mouse. The site takes forever to load...

Anyone know where to find the software without going through Razer?

I had the same problem when I just directly loaded the page. I hit Open in new window and it loaded right away.

I have one as well and can use the back 3 with no problem. This is one case where I think having tiny hands helps, though. My thumb is just the right length to hit them; no awful hand contortions needed to get down there.

How does this mouse work with FPS games? I'm purchasing a new mouse soon too so I'm shopping around.
