    You know. If they applied this knowledge to, say, vision correction... instead of the relatively superfluous world of games...

    You do realize that the oculus rift has been used to research those kinds of problems right?

    being used for games is just one facet of Tango. That is why i put it here instead of in upcoming games. This will be used in many areas of research and Dev.

    I might be thinking about different vision problems then.

    Considering Oculus Rift is being used as a diagnostic device or in therapies that can already be performed without them, I don't really consider that valid. That said, for mental health or learning the Rift has a lot of potential.
