Problem Updating laptops graphics drivers

ok heres my problem, as stated in the title i am trying to update my laptops graphics drivers, and the only place i can find that has the latest drivers is the Intel website, however ive downloaded it and everytime after i try to install it i get an error message saying :
The driver being installed is not valledated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate drviver from the computers manufacturer. Setup will now exit

now as far as i can tell i am attempting to download the appropriate driver but it just gives me the same message. I am using a Dell Inspiron 6400 and the graphics driver is: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family. my laptop runs on windows Vista Home basic 32bit and the download im using is speceficly for it.

So anyone have any ideas? im completely stumped

hey man thanks for saying that, im a bit of an idiot, was trying to update from Intels website, i just updated from Dells support site and now the update is working, heh increased my graphics memory from 254 to 256 .

 

Awesome! 2 megs might hold a high res 256x256 texture
