If they just released Planetside with an update game engine I would probably play it again. I will be interested in this for sure.
It is still running, but its not the same when your not rolling into a base with a tank division, stealth suits air dropping onto the roofs and glalaxies bringing in Infantry by the dozen.
The game was truly the real beginning off MMO's. Massive PvP, taking bases & continents with infantry/armor/air. It was real tactics, battle movements and war!
Many would disagree, Don't forget about WW2 Online. But it's still good to see that it is being worked on.
I play ww2 still...its been updated...been playing since 1999. Im not playing since I moved..but ill be back in again. ..PS and ww2ol battles were the best. I am stoked over a PS2
I'm not overly excited, i have a feeling it will have too much extra stuff, just like the expansions that separated the players too much from doing the actually combat. Now you can sit in the distance in a huge ass mech and shoot the base from 200 miles away. You can go underground and fly around on these retarded ziplines and get super alien vehicles... come on! The game was good and they broke it!
