TERA Online ApplicationHow old are you? 20 In-Game Name? PersonalRiot Do you have Teamspeak 3 and a mic? Yes What is your primary class? Ranger Why did you choose XoO: I have seen so many guilds come and go, and I am looking for a guild that can move with me as time progresses. After joining smaller more specialized guilds for both WAR/Aion, I have seen how they often fair poorly come game release due to not having a firm foundation. The second, is because one of my very good friends Kurushii also has applied to this guild, we have been through a lot together in terms of gaming and I wish to keep up the tradition of our history and making new social connections. Previous Gaming Experience: I have been gaming for over for a decade now, my first game being Starsiege. A mech based shooter much like mechwarrior, this is where I joined for first community of clan based play including tournament matches. My experience in starsiege was more of a follower, and specialized in more of a military styled clan. During that time and now, I have played so many games that I couldn't want to possibly list them all so I will write down the major ones/minor ones in a separate fashion. More Minor: WoW - Pre-BC 60 Rouge & 80 Gnome DK(casual played) Aion - Ancient Bersekers Fury - Future Crew under ShockSN Major: Ragnarok Online - 4Years - 2 Major Guilds : Winds of Eternity and Radiate Ragnarok Online was my first MMO, and as you can see I dedicated a large portion of my life to it. I played a number of servers over the years but the two guilds listed above are the ones I stayed with the longest. I played almost every class under the sun but my fav. were certainly my paladin and lord knight. My focus of the game was the WoE(Guild Battles) and the community. During my time playing I also was a Game Master and did some scripting(creating/modifying the servers) as well. Planetside - Future Crew under ShockSN and Central Spike under Motherload http://planetside.station.sony.com/news_archive.vm?id=67433&month=102007 Planetside was my second major gaming even, I played for a year and a half under Central Spike as a Vice-Commander. I was in my teen years during this time, and yet learned to command and organize groups of adults in warfare/tactics nearing group sizes of 30-50 people. RFo - ViRuS I played private servers of RF for nearly a year then moved onto the second official release when the game came out I rolled for the Bells as an armsman and while I didn't play for a large period of time I went into it with a hardcore mentality and ended up making it onto the top 15 pvp ranks for the race with my armsman. I made it to level 49 before the guild ended up falling apart due to different mindsets. WAR - Negative Burn WAR was a game that I looked forward to for a long period of time, and joined nB almost a year in advance before the game released. By the time the game came out I was one of the three remaining original 40 members that was pushing the guild through rough times and re-recruitment. I made it to rank 40 on my swordsman and pressed forward but ending up being disappointed in late game deign content and tech. issues. Between all of these games I have tasted almost everything between. I have different from almost every genre of game from fighters(BB) to strategy(SC2) to going into more complex resource games such as EvE Online. Why do you think you'll be a good fit? I have years of experience that I can bring to the guild as well as I been through the drama and issues that always seem to arise in guilds at one time and another. I believe in a no drama policy and I am here to make friends and enjoy games. While my playtimes have drifted more casually as I have gotten older, I still have the strong mentality of hardcore for the hours that I do play. I play to excel at games, with all of the ideas and concepts that go with it. I enjoy teaching new players, learning mechanics, and exploring new worlds. I have gone through almost every type of game and with that experience I enjoy sharing and helping others that need any aid. What will you contribute to the guild? In terms of things I can help with, I am a computer engineer in my last year of schooling and have a number of medium to strong background in coding and helping people with homework : ). In my work hours, I am a leadership specialist in real life, so I can bring a strong voice as well as become a bridger of ideas between people and groups. Lastly, one of the reason why I am here is to have a good time, and become friends with a great community. I want to laugh, and make others do the same while enjoying one of my passions. Localization: NA Do you have a referral? Kurushii A little bit about yourself? Computer Engineer 4th Year I work in child leadership, and have moved from being an assistant leader as a young teenager to hiring and training teenagers to become staff members at outdoor education centers. I am fun lovely, and enjoy being challenged, and tackling those challenges with friends. I would say that I am caution when getting to know people(thought I am certainly improving in this manner) but as quoted in many vents "A complete riot" once I start to open up to people. I enjoy jogging and working out while I am not managing all the other things in my life : ) Activity level? Ranging from 35-40 hours a week Do you have a high speed internet connection and a good computer? Yes Have you applied to the TERA usergroup? Yes Edit: Anyone here play SC2? I see sigs here and there.

It's cool, I'm not sure if your aware but were currently capped on Warriors. Kyoji said after we hit 70 members we would start getting a more specific on which classes we need. And currently Warriors have twice the population of any other class. I'll look for you in TS tomorrow. Or I'll probably see you at the TERA meeting. (as long as my house doesn't flood)
