Okay, XoO...I need a little help from our artists on a few things! The first, I am getting my first tattoo soon. Some of you may already know what I am getting..It is the greek spelling of "Phoenix" on my right shoulder. However, while I was with my ex, she suggested I add a flaming feather behind it. Now...An artist I am not. And I know we have some serious talent in XoO. So I am requesting some help! I would love to see some flaming feathers that are created by the community. Who knows..maybe your art will end up on PDog's arm. The second are for the After effects peeps. Due to me being unable to keep up with my gaming blog any more due to lack of time...I have decided to do a video blog instead. It allows for me to be more vocal, spontaneous, and descriptive in my arguments..And it won't take as much time as typing it all out. What I need is two short intro films. One is going to be for the channel itself. I'll be using it for not only the blog, but all the videos I do which will include my guild videos when WoW: Cataclysm hits in December. I need it to be no more than 10 seconds and entitled "PhoenixDog TV". Artistic freedom is allowed, but adding a Phoenix to it would be appreciated =D. The second short video is for the blog's intro. Just a quick little snippit introducing the blog. "PDog's Gaming Blog 2000" would be the title. Just like the last, artistic freedom is allowed. Just no more than 10 seconds. Both videos will be credited by the creators, and I will probably add in something personal from myself for the effort. Any and all help for any of these projects is greatly appreciated. Love: PDog
You read ancient greek? ...cool... did you learn that in school or from family? uh.. a flaming feather?...you trying to tell us something? If its associated with the phoenix..I can understand getting it. But very few people read ancient greek...even fewer that are into tattoos, all they will see is a flaming feathers with some word they dont understand.. maybe you should go with talons instead..whats left on it being consumed..or the head and beak coming out of the ashes. don't do wings...wings are cliche...verging on lame. to begin with..why a phoenix? you going thru a rebirth of sorts?
yea..your pretty much clued in..except im not against tattoos nor ancient greek. just pretending you understand ancient greek ..kind of irks me..or using really profound images for rather mundane purposes. oh and yea..wings are very cliche...a tattoo should be something that has a very personal meaning. I have none..but am considering a portrait of my dead brother
